A schoolbus driver was taken to court for grabbing the arm of a rowdy boy who would not stop pulling a girl’s hair.

But the judge threw out the charge – and had a policeman take the 12-year-old boy to the police cells as a warning.

Jim McCorkindale, 70, of Gore in Southland, told the Weekend Herald that while dropping off children last July, he saw two boys pulling the hair of a girl and got out of his driver’s seat to try to stop it.

“I went over and touched the boy on the arm to attract his attention, and that was the assault.”

When the boy did not respond to being told to stop, “I threatened to hit him in the ribs, and he flinched and let the kid’s hair go to protect his ribs”, Mr McCorkindale said.

“But I never touched him again.”

The boy had continued misbehaving after Mr McCorkindale returned to his seat.

Children on the bus called the police and he found officers waiting to talk to him when he finished his run.

When police rejected the option of diversion, Mr McCorkindale received a court summons.

But in the Gore District Court, Judge Kevin Phillips threw out the charge.

Instead, he told the boy he should be “thoroughly ashamed” of himself and had a policeman take him to the cells, the Southland Times reported.

Mr McCorkindale said he found it disgusting that he was charged in the first place.

I doubt it is a message the boy will understand or the Police who prosecuted the poor man. The judge however is clearly from a by-gone era in that he saw through the B.S. and cut straight to the chase. We used to have Police that did this too, but now they arrest the innocent party or the victim rather than deal with reality. Mr McCorkindale did the right thing, years past he would have given the little shit a clip behind the ears and the problem would go away. The coopers used to do this too. Somewhere along the way the do-gooders have screwed up our society.

Now if Mr McCorkindale would like to sort out some naughty children coming his way in a big red bus paid for by us i would be grateful.

From the NZ Herald

More than 1300 police officers nationwide have failed their physical fitness test.

Of the 8467 constables, sergeants and senior sergeants who were required to complete the physical competency test every two years, 1353 had not passed, the Dominion Post reported.

Auckland police district produced the best results with 11 per cent of non-passes followed by the Tasman district with 12 per cent. But in Wellington, Northland and Waitemata, 21 per cent or more failed.

Police officers who did not have a pass the physical competency test (PCT) did not get a pay increase, while those who passed get $1390.

I wonder if Howard Broad passed? I wonder if Detective Marcia Murray passed?

I was on OneNews tonight to talk about the Facebook group that has been setup about Vanessa Pickering. They also had Gary Gotlieb on spewing uninformed misinformation about this case and other cases and the role of the internet.

“There is no need for Facebook in a situation (like this), where we’re in a democracy,” Gotlieb says.

“We’re in a legal system and it’s just been completely abused by these idiots doing this stuff on Facebook.”

What a fool. People do this because tossers like him use the system to the benefit of their thug clients. The public is fed up and they aren’t going to take it anymore. Then there was the equally ignorant comments from Assistant professor Ursula Cheer. These lawyers don’t seem to realise that the world has changed and the law hasn’t, nor can it shut the door after the horse has bolted.

Apparently the government has had enough too. Woooooooo….running scared here. Just what exactly are they going to do? There is no way they can control the internet and Simon “FIGJAM” Power is stupider than I thought if he thinks he can.

As for TVNZ all the faux outrage about not naming the offender makes them look silly when:

The Police have their own press release telling the world the offenders name (image in case if deletion)
The Google cache shows the Police press release before they changed it. (image in case if deletion)

The NZ Herald still has a news article online (image in case if deletion)

The Press still carries an online story (image in case if deletion)

The Press Twitter page also has his name (image in case if deletion)

TVNZ Twitter account also has him name not once but twice (image in case if deletion)

NewsNZ Twitter account, the same (image in case if deletion)

StuffNewsroom carries it as well (image in case if deletion)

The Otago Daily Times still has a story online (image in case if deletion)

NewstalkZB even includes a photo just in case we can’t read his name (image in case if deletion)

RadioNZ is guilty as well (image in case of deletion)

3News is no better (image in case if deletion)

Even Simon “FIGJAM” Power’s own department website carries details online of his previous conviction. This makes Ursula Cheer look like a complete imbecile.

So if that isn’t enough evidence to tell stupid lawyers, judges and Ministers that you can’t stop or control the internet with a court order then nothing will convince the fools. Gary Gotlieb has just called The Minister of Justice, All the MSM as well as Facebook users fools. The reality is that he is the fool…..oh….and FIGJAM Power.

Had enough my arse, you ain’t seen nothing yet FIGJAM, this campaign will roll on every week in the news because no-one in government gets it, the people in the street are sick of it, and you simply can’t stop the internet. I will probably be charged with this post, but I would expect that all these media outlets are charged as well along with the Police Media Department.

The DomPost reports that Tasers are helping in many situations with calming down perps.

The Taser is saving lives, and many criminals are simply surrendering at the sight of it, police say.

Nine people were shot with a Taser in its first year of use and some incidents were so violent, the offender could have been shot with a firearm, if the stun gun had not been available. Police policy is to shoot at the torso.

A tenth person was tasered in Johnsonville on Friday.

That is so funny. Before the Taser was available people may have been shot but now the Taser is available the crims are very wary. Go figure, they ignore a Glock which spits 9mm bullets and fear a jolt from a Taser. Ignore sthe gun that could kill you, fear the zapper. Fricken dumb crims.

Back in 2006 veteran Crim-cuddler Marie Dyhrberg was all for banning them.

A campaign has been launched to stop the introduction of taser guns to the police.

It was revealed in February that trials of electronic stun guns are planned for later this year. Now a group calling itself ‘Campaign Against The Taser’ is trying to fire up debate.

Barrister and group spokeswoman Marie Dyhrberg says there should be a full independent inquiry about the devices. She says with major concerns already being raised about police use of pepper spray, it is critical the introduction of tasers is carefully scrutinised.

Liberal, panty-waist crim-cuddlers should just STFU. The Taser is saving lives.

Little else to be said about this completely inappropriate boy-racer stunt. Looks Crusher has found her first victims. Posted on Youtube by @joegreenz

Looks like they were trying to find the school and got lost.

UPDATE: Omg! It is worse than I thought, read the commentary in the sidebar at Youtube.

I shot these clips with my cell phone while at a school fair on Auckland’s North Shore. Two police patrol cars careened around a playing field for a considerable period of time. They were driven by uniformed officers, presumably on duty. On board the vehicles were members of the public, mostly children – I did not see any adult passengers. A fee was charged for the joy-ride (given to the school as part of their fundraising).

There were no safety precautions taken. Had the even been a sanctioned motorsport event or display then safety barriers would have been used between the public and the vehicles, hay bales, tyres or armco rails. Marshals would also have been present to inform the public about safety and to prevent incident or accident.

The video clearly shows the close proximity of the vehicles to entertainments at the fair. Both cars pass extremely close to the inflatable ‘bouncey castle’ – children are playing on the castle while the event took place. Nearby is also an ice-cream vending vehicle. Lines of children and their parents can be seen waiting for service while the police vehicles sweep past at speed.

The conditions were dry, dust can be seen being thrown up by the vehicles. Traction on the grassy surface was apparently negligible as the cars drift easily on the surface.

Aside from the propriety of police cars being used for this kind of purpose, serious questions should be asked about the judgment of the officers involved, their commanders who (presumably) authorised the event and the organisers of the school fair.

In New Zealand millions of dollars are spent on road safety messages. This kind of activity sends a mixed signal to children and the public. Minister Judith Collins would demand that these vehicles be confiscated and crushed if they were driven by private citizens, amongst other serious penalties.

Unfortunate headlinesPig study may help police

Hmmmm….perhaps they didn’t think that one through thoroughly enough.

The study itself seems interesting where researchers have studied the decomposition of 14 dead pigs and compared them with decompositionr ates of 6 dead bodies in the FBI “Body Farm”.

Personally I prefer my pork spare ribs generous coated with hoison sauce then BBQ’d, not left to rot in the ground. Not sure I what sauce works best on humans though.

This post is dedicated to the Police monitoring my site 24/7, hope you are enjoying it.

As I was returning to my car from court today I snapped this photo. I waited more than 5 minutes chatting to some builders who were trying to unload wood around the illegally parked Police car. They were very frustrated so I offered my assistance. Note that a Police car isn’t a Goods Vehicle, doesn’t have a Goods Service Licence and is not a Truck.

The Police have announced that they are monitoring my Website. Good Christ Almighty haven’t the got better things to do.

Police are keeping a watch on the controversial blog of Cameron Slater and they have referred his latest moves to Crown solicitors in Auckland.

The Solicitor General yesterday said he would not be pursuing charges against Mr Slater for his Whale Oil blog, which revealed the name of an alleged child sex offender by writing it in binary code.

Tell you what David Collins, charge me with contemp, So I can prove you are wrong in law and wrong in fact. I think you already know that because yuou have stated publicly and privately, yes I know what you say, that you are on a mission to prove that you can get a blogger.

Well Dr Colins I reckon if I could be got you woulda already. So monitor away and I’ll take a civil leberties case against you nosy interfering fuckwits.

If you had a fucking brain you would have already checked out my other involvements with the Police. Right now, right here I tell you that the help has ceased. Fuck you. Go and catch some real criminals.

Mr Winter said he had been in contact with the Auckland Police, and that the matter would be referred to them for consultation with the Crown Solicitor in Auckland.

He said Police would continue to monitor Slater’s website for any additional breaches.

Mr Winter said Mr Slater’s actions appeared to be in defiance of a court order, were irresponsible and could lead to the identification of the victim that the order was intended to protect.

Solicitor General David Collins said he supported the action taken by police.

Earlier this week, Prime Minister John Key voiced his disapproval for Mr Slater’s tactics.

Probably one of the reasons the Police couldn’t charge me with contempt of court was because John Winter can’t STFU. He still can’t and is busily now defaming me by saying I have done something that I patently did not do. I think this year is going to be very, very lucrative. First a Civil Rights case then a defamation case. Maybe even a case against David Collins to add the the three already against him for breaches of natural justice.

Instead of monitoring my website why don’t you deploy detectives to Timaru Port and watch that to see how that port has become the major import facility for precursor substances of methamphetamine. They don’t know this stuff because they couldn’t find a root in a brothel.

I thought that the cellphone ban in cars was silly, nanny state decision making without any substantive evidence. Then this morning I saw exactly why the ban won’t work, is unenforceable and just plain ridiculous.

This photo is of a cop in his car talking on a cellphone. How do I know it is a cop? Well the lights on the rear sill, the little aerial in the centre of the roof, the steel wheels, the lack of a tow bar, the cop radio on the dash and of course the complete disregard for any law. I hope his minister doesn’t read this blog.
