The Clown of Campbells Bay - Andrew WilliamsMost by now will realise that Andrew Williams, the Clown of Campbells Bay and the Mad Mayor of North Shore is a bit do-lally. Especially in late afternoon and evening when the combination of alcohol and pain killers has seriously impaired what few brain cells he actually has. So it wasn’t a surprise in the wake of the news that he had been boo’d by mad (and I mean mad as in crazy) constituent that the same constituent had be served a trespass notice by his loyal ally, the Chairman of the Northcote Shopping Centre Association — Martin Laws. Laws is also Chairman of the Takapuna Community Board.

Now The Clown of Campbells Bay prove he really is a nasty c**t. He issues a shoot the messenger and bag the constituent press release.

Subject: Mayoral Media Release – Edward Rooney doesn’t let the facts get in the way of a good story

19 March 2009

Edward Rooney doesn’t let the facts get in the way of a good story

As is his usual style of tabloid “gutter” reporting, Edward Rooney at The Aucklander/NZ Herald doesn’t let the facts get in the way of a good  story.

Mr Rooney phoned me this week to enquire about an issue involving Mrs Shirley Squires at the Northcote Shopping Centre, where the centre administration had the Police serve a trespass notice on her for offensive behaviour. I informed Mr Rooney that I was not responsible for the trespass order but I had witnessed her unacceptable offensive behaviour at Northcote Shopping Centre during the Chinese New Year celebrations, and that I was aware that Mrs Squires had had a long history of such offensive behaviour in public.

I advised him that North Shore City Council a number of months ago had needed to serve a trespass notice on her for council buildings as she was intimidating and threatening staff,  and causing a public nuisance.  I was not responsible for this trespass notice either.

Some of Mrs Squires neighbours in Sunnynook have moved house because of her behaviour towards them. She has been arrested a number of times for such disturbances and for being a public nuisance, and was institutionalised last year by the health authorities when the situation became intolerable.

Many people from council and from the community have tried to help Shirley Squires over quite a few years but she ignores their assistance, choosing rather to harass and make attacks on people all around her. I understand she has similar issues with local MP Dr. Wayne Mapp, and his office has also experienced problems over a period of time with Mrs Squires.

Edward Rooney was aware of much of this information but chose to write a very slanted story making Mrs Squires out to be the victim. Unfortunately the truth, which Mr Rooney conveniently overlooks,  is that many many people have been affected for a number of years by Mrs Squires’ actions, and the patience of the community is coming to an end.

I hope she will accept help as its sad to see this situation happening for anyone.

And a journalist refresher course for Edward Rooney wouldn’t go amiss, as it’s very evident that he needs help too.

Good one dickhead, Isn’t this charming?  Here’s a woman who obviously has a few problems, so the mayor blabs her issues to the whole world, in hopes of making himself look less of a tosser. FAIL!

Plus I bet he didn’t mention his little press release to Wayne Mapp before he went blabbing to the media. Expect a comfortable shoe rammed up your arse in short order.

Why doesn’t he just claim an illness, resign and slide off into obscurity and drink himself to cirrhosis of the liver. He isn’t Crunchy the Clown, he is Crunchy the C**t.

The Clown of Campbells Bay, Andrew Williams the mad Mayor of North Shore is in the news again and for all the wrong reasons.

The Clown of Campbells Bay - Andrew WilliamsA woman who blew a raspberry at North Shore Mayor Andrew Williams has been issued a trespass notice, banning her from the shopping centre where the incident occurred.

Shirley Squire described the mayor as a “cowardly careerist” before blowing him a raspberry after he finished singing with a troupe during Chinese New Year celebrations at the Northcote Shopping Centre.

Days later, Sunnynook community constable Penny Rusbatch presented Miss Squire with a trespass notice, prohibiting the 74-year-old from “Northcote Shopping Centre and surrounds”.

“This is beyond persecution,” she told The Aucklander. “It’s positively sadistic.”

Surely the Police have got better things to do that issue trespass notices for people giving raspberries to The Clown of Campbells Bay. After all he has been doing exactly the same thing to the ratepayers of North Shore. Thankfully they have just a few months of having to put up the Clown.

Andrew Williams is The ScarecrowAndrew Williams, fomerly known as the Clown of  Campbells Bay and the Mad Mayor is these days going by the moniker “The Scarecrow” for the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz was missing a brain.

The Scarecrow has dictated a missive that shows as much about his mental state as his addiction to pain killers and alcohol. It is a rambling inhorecent piece of tosh. The Herald must have been short of a few column inches today to publish this rubbish.

The post could be summarised like this:

  • Random Quote, totally irrelevant to rest of document
  • Conspiracy Theory of control of Auckland
  • Call Local Government Minister and other Ministers liars
  • Moan about losing his job
  • pathetic link back to the first quote.

When the news about Andrew Williams late night/early morning txt messages hit the front pages the Mad Mayor went on the offensive. He blamed everybody except himself.

Now several months after the episode was raised he is in the press again and now claiming that despite his protestations of innocence and producing reports that he alleged cleared him, the Clown of Campbells Bay is now blaming the txts on a drug addiction. Oh sure he doesn’t quite say that, but with all mendacious politicians you have to read between the lines.

That now raises some issues. Andrew Williams went on nationwide television and brandished reports and issued press releases proclaiming his innocence and that it was all a beat up. Now he suggests it may have happened and that the demon pills were the issue. More likely sinking piss on top of the pills is the real issue. But the question still remains, Why bring this up now?

I’ll hazard a guess on that. I just bet you that a Sunday paper has by law just received their LGOIMA documents that they requested and is about to print the details of his phone bill that clearly show not just one 3am txt but hundreds of them. He is getting in ahead of the papers and trying out a bit of spin to see if the kite will fly.

Hmmm…let’s wait and see shall we.

The Clown of Campbells Bay - Andrew WilliamsThis award would have to go to Andrew Williams who unsurprisingly has also won many more awards at The Aucklander.

Edward Rooney has splendidly summarised the Clown of Campbells Bay complete arse of a year. The Mad Mayor of North Shore thankfully has less than a year left in the job when he will then slink off to Taupo, or so The Whale’s spies tell him. I’m not sure Taupo wants him though.

Of course Andrew Williams may yet have another rush of shit to the brains and decide to delight WOBH readers by standing for the Super City mayoralty.

My favourite award from the series is the:

Most frightful drug reaction.

Andrew Williams. On December 14, Prime Minister John Key confirmed he’d deleted “obnoxious and aggressive” text messages sent to him by Mr Williams, some as late as 3.30am. Mr Williams eventually offered a qualified apology for the messages, saying he’d been on “a lot of painkillers” following a cycling accident in March.

Need we remind you that the Mad Mayor also has frightful reactions to alcohol.

The Mad Mayor of North Shore, the Clown of Campbells Bay, Andrew Williams is at it again. He has sent out a press release at 10:07pm, bombarding many National MPs and others with his mad ravings. The way he carries on his city will be lucky to get anything out of central government.

For Christmas, Building and Construction Minister Maurice Williamson needs to get himself a calculator and the “Vintage Book of Amnesia: An Anthology of Writing on the Subject of Memory Loss” by Jonathan Lethem, says North Shore Mayor Andrew Williams.

“He needs the calculator to work out how much GST and income taxes the government stands to make from the $11 billion repair bill to the nation’s leaky homes. Current estimates indicate the government could reap up to $2 billion in revenue, thereby actually making a huge profit on this national disaster.” says Mayor Williams.

“The Amnesia book would also be helpful to the Minister, as he clearly has a case of memory loss with regards to the National Government of the 1990’s which passed the Building Act 1991 reducing regulations on builders and developers. That same government then allowed the Building Industry Authority to approve materials that were not fit for purpose such as untreated kiln dried timber in combination with directly applied monolithic cladding materials that leaked.”

Of course the Minister of Building and Construction is far too grown up to reply to this sort of childish tantrum throwing. However since I am from the lunatic Wing of the VRWC I will happily indulge in smacking Williams around the ears.

Andrew Williams must think he is smarter than Treasury because they don’t agree with his claims. If the drunken idiot had learned to read he would realise how wrong he is according to the Treasury documents. These documents have been widely distributed around people in local government including the Mental Mayor, it just so happens that I managed to obtain a copy of the report.

The Clown should also review his stance on amnesia given that the druggie/alcoholic can’t remember texting the Prime Minister at 3am after a long night chatting with the piss fairy.

What sort of a loser is the the Clown for not fronting for media interviews after sending out his late night press release, booze and pill induced missive. The sook thinks being on holiday is an excuse.

To cap off an awesome week for WOBH the Mad Mayor of North Shore, the Clown of Campbells Bay, Andrew Williams has now explained the reasons for his late night texting and abusive emails…..pain killers!

I don’t know what is worse, the fact he has a problem with the bottle or an addiction to painkillers, or that he seems to be mixing both.

The idiot railed all week about how innocent he was, even went on Close Up in order to give The Whale some more publicity and now goes crawling to the Herald with this lame-arse excuse. I’m not buying it. Even if it is true the Mad Mayor is unfit for Clown Duty let alone being the Mayor of a major NZ city.

It’s clear as the red nose on his face that The Clown of Campbells Bay has a problem.

Andrew Williams is a man not in control of his emotions. This time the news is the Mad Mayor on his trip to Christchurch sent text messages to Bob Parker about how the Clown from Campbells Bay disliked his city.

On July 27, Williams sent a cellphone email to Christchurch Mayor Bob Parker just after midnight after dining with friends in the city. In the email, Williams said he and his party were “most disappointed with Christchurch tonight”.

After attending a function in the city, his group went looking for a restaurant, but Williams told Parker “your city was dead as a duck”.

Asked to comment on the email yesterday, Parker said it showed “a rather eccentric attitude” when councils around the country were looking to build solid relationships.

“Mayors usually refrain from criticising other mayors and their cities,” he said.

I wouldn’t call it “rather eccentric attitude” I’d call it pissed as a newt. Andrew Williams, the Clown of Campbells Bay and the mad Mayor of the North Shore is drunk in charge to a city.

As is usual with the Mad Mayor’s textual harrassment it involved a threat.

“What we did get offered finally arrived at 10pm, a whole hour’s wait for food, so the service was 3rd world by anyone’s standards. I hope this not normal for Chch because we were all less than impressed.

“… The media, I understand, are also interested in what we think of our visit to Christchurch so that will make an interesting story, don’t you think, as a former media man?”

The man must be sacked, recalled, or made to resign. Where are the “A team” in all of this? Probably pouring Stop Banks wine down the Mad Mayor’s throat.

As if it wasn’t bad enough to be on the front page of NZ’s biggest Sunday paper he then went and scored the front page of NZ’s biggest daily website and page A4 as well, and on NewstalkZB and TVNZ. NewstalkZB had to have several goes at recording Andrew Williams so apoplectic he was,

I really must get my Christmas Card list together, Andrew Williams, the Mad Mayor of North Shore and the Clown of Campbells Bay has certainly helped ratings no end.

Instead of shutting the hell up the fool then went troppo threatening to sue Leighton Smith if he kept up his radio show mocking the Barking Mad Mayor.

As if that wasn’t bad enough his antics have now gone international making it to Australia and now to the UK. The disrepute he has brought on the North Shore is appalling. He really must resign.

But wait there is more as the advertisements say. I held back this last message for two reasons. One it is the most denigrating of George Wood and also of poor quality. But given Andrew Williams decision to attack all and sundry as part of some sort of master plot I will now release it.

Voicemail from Andrew Williams

The so called A Team on the North Shore have great deal to answer for as they have enabled his bombastic, abusive, behaviour. He must resign and apologise on the way out for making such a fool of his office.

North Shore mayor sends “aggressive” texts to PM – Radio New Zealand

Mr Williams says political figures should be thick-skinned enough to deal with tightly-worded text messages.”

Yet the Clown of Campbells Bay, the Mad Mayor, Andrew Williams couldn’t hack being called a lunatic in an accidentally sent text from John Banks. He ran straight to the Herald like a blubbing baby.

Resign Andrew, or seek help.

Andrew Williams, the Mad Mayor and Clown of Campbells Bay has done it again. The Sunday Star Times carries a front page story by Jonathan Marshall about his rude texts, messages and emails to the Prime Minister. He has also been leaving abusive late night voicemail messages with former Mayor George Woods.

Whaleoil and Gotcha! has obtained some of those messages. I thought a nice parody video would be the best way to play the recordings of Andrew Williams.

The Minister of local Government surely must now be contemplating some sort of action against the mad mayor in order to save the citizens of North shore from any more of his embarrassing harassment. Couldn’t he appoint a Commissioner to run North Shore until the ocal body elections next year?

One thing is for sure is Andrew Williams needs to take out a full page in nationwide paper and apologise to those whom he has abused including George Woods and the Prime Minister. His resignation wouldn’t go amiss either.

Why won’t the so-called A Team (Viv Keohane, Grant Gillon, Jan O’Connor, Julia Parfitt and Tony Holman) intervene against Williams outrageous behaviour? They tolerate it, because they derive their incomes from supporting Williams. This is why the party system is superior to the ‘every-man-for-himself’ approach of the North Shore, because with party politics you get discipline, unity and superior governance. With a $3.2 billion spendup, the new Auckland Council can’t rest in the hands of loonies and their compliant councillors.

None of the above compliant troughers of the North Shore majority will act on Williams’ transgressions, because they’re weak politicians, and only interested in their chairmanship remuneration. In addition they usually post abusive comments in support of their Mad Mayor especially Jan O’Connor who is the most sycophantic of the lot.

NZ’s worst mayor Andrew Williams, the Clown of Campbells Bay has labeled National’s most experienced minister and 2nd longest serving MP out of his depth.

Diplomacy, Andrew Williams style.

Listen to the Fool. Is that slurring in his speech? The only handle Andrew Williams has got a grip of is the handle of piss he just got served at the local bar before doing the interview. The audacity of him to talk about Claytons , the drink you have when you aren’t having a drink just makes his ravings even more lunatic.

The man is a disgrace, obviously he has spent too much time string at the bottom of a gin tumbler. What does he want the government to do, borrow MORE?

The Mad Mayor of North Shore, Andrew Williams, the Clown of Campbells Bay has proven yet again why Rodney Hide needs to seriously consider the adding the power of recall into the legislation for the new Auckland Super City.

It is idiots like Andrew Williams that do the reputation of good governance no service at all with their antics.

Glenfield Community Board member and former councillor David Thorton agrees and calls for the Power of Recall.

In a media release yesterday, “Hide’s fundraising rort the first of many”, North Shore Andrew Williams once again lodges into an ill-informed personal attack on a government minister.

Mayor Williams gets paid a sizeable salary by his ratepayers and should not be spending even more ratepayers’ money on making continued rude, personal and unnecessary media attacks on Local Government Minister Rodney Hide.

His latest outburst concerns an ACT Party fundraiser in Christchurch – and has no relevance at all to the ratepayers of North Shore City .

For many months Mayor Williams has achieved notoriety for his personal attacks on other mayors and government ministers – with absolutely nothing gained for the city he is meant to be serving.

If New Zealand had a system of ‘recall’ for elected members who failed their voters I believe Mayor Williams would have been long gone.

He has presided over a council which introduced the highest rates increases in the Auckland region and one of the highest in the country.

His council, in secret – without consultation, paid over $4 million for a beachfront house that was valued at just over $2 million.

In an ongoing battle, victims of a landslip have been trying to get a fair deal from Mayor William’s council – but have been refused information as all meetings on solutions to their problems are held in secret.

For a city the size of Auckland i believe that Minister Hide would do well to introduce recall provisions to the Supercity Bill so the public do not have to suffer the vagaries of meat-axes like Williams or fools like Hubbard.

The other day I blogged about a little tirade by the Mad Mayor of North Shore, the Clown of Campbells Bay, Andrew Williams.

One of the Mad Mayors, even madder lickspittles Jan O’Connor was trying to comment here anonymously but stupidly used her own email address that I was lying about the events I reported. However the latest North Shore Times proves out everything that I said. It is in fact Cr. O’Connor who is the liar.

Today the Takapuna board will consider whether to appoint a new member.

Legislation prevents it from selecting a current councillor.

Councillor Chris Darby queried whether Mr Crews should have sought a leave of absence instead of sending in regular apologies to meetings.

Mr Darby said when he phoned Mr Crews’ North Shore number he was told by someone that he lived in England.

Mayor Andrew Williams reacted angrily saying he would not have Mr Crews’ integrity questioned, especially when he was extremely ill.

Mr Williams paid tribute to Mr Crews’ work with the Untag trust, community policing and the Kennedy Park restoration project.

He said if the North Shore Times criticised Mr Crews he would complain to the paper’s management.

Mr Darby said the mayor shouldn’t “threaten the media” and called him a bully.

The mayor threatened to expel Mr Darby from the chamber. Mr Williams asked him to withdraw his bully comment which he did.

So in fact it is the Mad Mayor who is a bully, it is the Mad Mayor that threatened a newspaper and the Mad Mayor who bullied another councillor into an apology that he should never have had to make.

The man is a disgrace and so are his lickspittle apologists like Cr O’Connor.

I recieved the following missive from the North Shore City Council this morning;

9.20 AM
30 September 2009

The North Shore City Council is passing on advice from the Ministry of Civil Defence advising North Shore residents to keep off the beaches for the next hour.

Although the Ministry of Civil Defence is not predicting a major event in New Zealand, sensible precautions should be taken in the light of this morning’s tsunami alert.

According to information received by the Ministry, a tsunami of 1.5m was generated in Samoa as a result of a 8.3 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Samoa.

Waves can be expected to be smaller in New Zealand, estimated at 1m at the East Coast and Bay of Plenty.

Wave heights outside of these regions will be advised as soon as possible, but it is unlikely that territorial authorities will need to expect a wave of any height greater than 1m.

The Ministry advises that areas of concern in New Zealand are Northland, the Coromandel, the Bay of Plenty and the East Coast north of Gisborne.  The threat is in particular to people in small boats and on the beaches.

I was waiting for the follow up email from the Clown of Campbells Bay, the Mad Mayor of North Shore, Andrew Williams advising us all to ignore official warnings and that just so long as you took your dog on a leash and wore a lifejacket that it was perfectly alright walking the Northern beaches and that he intended to do just that despite all the advice to the contrary.

Clown of Campbell's Bay reading Gotcha!

The one-eyed Mad Mayor of North Shore and the Clown of Campbells Bay must have had a few tipples too many before last night’s council meeting because from all accounts that have poured into the tipline he completely lost the plot at last night’s council meeting.

If my information is correct it appears that the One-eyed, mad Mayor at one stage may have threatened a journalist for the North Shore Times suggesting that if she reported his antics then her job was on the line. This was then challenged by another councillor who was then threatened by the one-eyed Mad Mayor with expulsion from the meeting.

What this blogger wants to know is if these reports are true? Surely there must be something that could be done to bring such antics into the clear light of day so that people of the North Shore can see what their mad Mayor, the Clown of Campbells Bay, Andrew Williams is up to.
